About The Committee
Thoughtful transitions begin with thoughtful planning.
The Elementary School Transition Committee was created to provide a collaborative forum for examining the many decisions, opportunities and considerations involved in bringing our school communities together.
Its work helps ensure that the transition is approached not only as a change in buildings, but as a coordinated effort centered on the people who learn,
work and grow within them.
Collective Effort
Through collaborative planning sessions, the committee mapped key areas of work across six phases spanning the 2026–2027 school year, raising important questions and identifying considerations related to students, families, staff, facilities, transportation, operations, communication and school community.
This website brings that work forward—providing our community with a central place to follow the transition, explore each phase, find answers to frequently asked questions and stay informed as plans progress.
