Decisions & Transition Updates

The Elementary School Transition Committee was created to help the District identify the questions, concerns, opportunities and priorities that should be considered throughout this process. Committee members representing students, parents, staff, Board members and communities contributed questions that have now been mapped across the transition timeline.

Not every question has an immediate answer. Many decisions depend on construction progress, enrollment, staffing, transportation planning or other work that must occur first. Rather than rush those decisions, BCSD will provide information as it becomes confirmed.
 

How Decisions Will Be Shared

As major transition decisions are finalized, this page will provide a central location for those updates. Information may include changes affecting school operations, transportation, staffing, student assignments, programs, building preparation and important dates.

The District will also communicate significant updates directly to affected families and employees when appropriate. This website is intended to provide a single public reference point where stakeholders can return for the latest confirmed information.
